The National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE) has launched a new E-Learning Management System (E-LMS) offering a free online course on basic financial education. This initiative aims to strengthen financial literacy across India and help individuals make informed financial decisions for a secure future.
Comprehensive Financial Education at Your Fingertips
The course covers key topics from Banking, Securities Markets, Insurance, and Pension products. These are further divided into 20 interactive modules, including:
Money & Transactions
Financial Records and Contracts
Managing Income & Expenditure
Long-Term Financial Planning
Financial Safety Nets & Insurance
Scams and Frauds
The entire course duration is approximately 5 hours, with each module lasting 15–20 minutes, making it easy for users to learn at their own pace.
Free and Accessible for Everyone
This free e-learning course is available to all registered users. The program provides a solid knowledge base that enhances financial awareness, promotes responsible money management, and supports financial well-being.
The content is derived from the publication “Capacity Building for Financial Literacy Programmes (CABFLIP)”, based on the OECD-INFE Core Competencies on Financial Literacy framework — ensuring global standards in financial education.
