The IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea from August 30 to September 4, 2025, due to expected rough sea conditions and high waves triggered by the prevailing weather systems.

🌀 Current Weather Systems Behind the Rain

The monsoon trough (low-pressure line) is currently located south of its normal position, enhancing rainfall activity.

A cyclonic circulation is present over North Konkan and surrounding areas, contributing to intensified rainfall, especially along the western coast.

🌂 Stay Safe and Prepared

Given the widespread rainfall forecast, residents in the affected areas are advised to:

Stay updated with local weather bulletins.

Avoid traveling through flood-prone areas.

Secure outdoor items and ensure proper drainage around homes.

Follow advisories issued by local authorities and disaster management teams.

Stay safe and keep an umbrella handy!
