The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Indian Engineering Services (IES) Mains Examination 2025 results, held on 10th August 2025. The shortlisted candidates are now advised to prepare for the Interview and Personality Test round.
As per the released data, the number of selected candidates branch-wise is as follows:
Civil Engineering – 646 candidates
Mechanical Engineering – 182 candidates
Electrical Engineering – 237 candidates
Electronics & Telecommunication – 311 candidates
Within the next 15 days, UPSC will provide an online portal where selected candidates must upload their required documents. The commission has strictly notified that any discrepancy or incomplete documentation may lead to disqualification from the Interview/Personality Test stage.
The exact schedule for the Interview and Personality Test will be announced shortly on the official UPSC website https://www.upsc.gov.in
. The final result of the examination will also be published on the same website
